The Ferrari Aurea by DGF Design was designed to fuse F1 technology and engineering into a road car.

The Ferrari Aurea concept was seen as a potential successor to the Ferrari 360 Modena, and developed with the help of three Ferrari product engineers.

HISTORY

Maranello’s “reds” are protagonists of an academic title. “Ferrari Aurea, study and project of a supersport” is in fact the theme of the degree thesis in Industrial Design that was discussed yesterday at 11 in Calenzano, at the headquarters of the department of architecture of the University of Florence.
At the work of the four graduates, Alessandro De Benedetti, Emiliano Fiordi, Marco Francesconi and Pierpaolo Garripoli, coordinated by the rapporteur Massimo Ruffilli, President of the Degree Course in Industrial Design at the University of Florence and co-author Mario De Stefano, actively contributed Engineers of the Ferrari design team. These are Luca Caldirola and Tommaso Trombetti who participated in the degree in the role of external correlators.
The Ferrari Aurea – designed in three versions, coupé, spider and cornet – has been designed with refined aerodynamic and stylistic solutions that inherit the elegance of the prestigious cars of Maranello’s home.
For the occasion, in front of the Calenzano headquarters, some historic cars of the mythical Ferrari were exhibited.
In short, a special day for the new doctors with the prototype particular thesis, which offered the opportunity to admire the flaming cars of Maranello’s home.
